MISSION STATEMENT: Building future audiences for Classical Music in San Diego through support of music education, the San Diego Symphony and Classics for Kids. AFCM is a member of the California Alliance for Arts Education In recognition of the organization's effectiveness, Mayor Jerry Sanders issued a proclamation declaring November 14, 2006 Advocates For Classical Music day in San Diego.
Puerta De Fe (Door Of Faith) Orphanage: Click on the link above to enter their website. This is an orphanage located in a remote part of Baja California, Mexico south of Rosarito, near La Mission. They do great work housing, feeding, clothing, educating, healing and loving homeless children. This is my personal, pet charity and I encourage everyone to donate to them. Donations are tax deductable-they'll send you a receipt. At present there are 120 kids there.
